today i'm thankful for saturdays, 70 degree weather, and my sister. saturday because it means i can be home with my new little buddy (that would be audrey), 70 degree weather b/c who wouldn't want 70 degree weather in november, and my sister b/c i had the chance to talk to her for 2 1/2 hrs this afternoon on the phone and i just love that! we don't get to talk that much but when we do i just love it. my sister is an amazing woman. she is absolutely beautiful on the outside and the inside, is hilarious and has a smile that's contageous. she is an amazing mother and wife, an incredible daughter and sister, and a faithful friend. she is one of the most generous people i've ever met - always has been. since we've been in st louis we ALWAYS, and i mean always, receive holiday packages from her - we got our halloween package a couple of days before halloween. she sends candy and other fun items - now she sends stuff for miss aud, too! and christmas......well, she is an absolute maniac at christmas!!! she spoils all of us at christmas. she is a very thoughtful person. she and my mom are amazing when it comes to writing notes to people. she is generous to those in need, friends or family in hard times. her heart hurts for them and she loves them in very special, unique ways. the Lord has used her and brent (her husband) in big ways - they have blessed the lives of many people through their generosity, love and kindness. the Lord has blessed them and in turn they bless many others! i am incredibly proud of my little sister and the woman that she is and her heart for the Lord.so today i'm thankful for chardel - a wonderful sister and friend!
