to say the last 4 years has been a roller coaster would be an understatement. the journey to get to st louis was amazing - little did we know what we were walking into. since we moved up here our relationship went to a brand new level - in a very good way. after my surgery 2 1/2 years ago ed was absolutely incredible. he juggled school, work and caring for me with grace and a tremendous amount of patience. the doctor had prepared us for worst case scenario with my surgery but we really did not have a clue as to how much things would change after that. life as we knew it changed overnight. between helping me with basic things (bathing for the first couple of weeks), helping with the feeding tube, helping with a crazy medicine schedule and administering the medicines through the feeding tube, taking care of the house and everything.... i don't know how he did it and still managed to make it out of that semester with a B average. he is champ, that's all there is to it!
ed is kind-hearted, patient, generous, friendly, funny, handsome/cute/good-looking/hot :), smart, wise, fun to be with, easy to be with, thoughtful, tender, a servant......i could go on and on. he has been a wonderful husband and now it's a true gift to watch him with his daughter and see what an amazing father he is. i am blessed beyond words.
so today i am thankful for my sweet, sweet husband. i love you, buddy!!! :)
