grateful april - day 30

today i was grateful for sunshine, candles, a nice neighborhood w/lots of activity, and a new dress that was DEEPLY discounted!!!

the weather was incredible - it is just so refreshing to see the sunshine and not be drenched or feeling like you have to hunker down b/c of the storms! aud and i were thanking the Lord for the blue sky and sunshine as we headed out for our first errand of the day, which brings me to my second grateful....

k. hall designs warehouse sale! happens twice a year and i LOVE being able to get their lovely smelling candles at a discount!!

after that aud and i came home, got the stroller out and walked over to the maplewood "coffee crawl". we are about 4 blocks from the "main drag" in maplewood - some cute little shops (including a spice shop and a chocolate shop that continually get me in trouble!!!). we both enjoyed the fresh air, a nice walk and being around people.

and because my time was cut a little short at k hall designs i moseyed on back when ed got home, just to be sure i didn't miss anything - and lo and behold i found a pretty dress 60% off!!! i don't buy a lot of clothes for myself, unless i absolutely have to, so for me to come home w/this dress was a big deal and ed realized that, too. he loved the dress on me, though, and i love it and can't wait to wear it this summer!!!

thus concludes our grateful april, huh? it was good (and challenging on some days) to be mindful of what i was grateful for. but all in all i know i have SO much to be grateful for!! i am truly blessed!!
