grateful april - day 5

i've been sitting here responding to a couple of emails, trying to think of what my grateful is going to be today. good, bad, right or wrong i was having a hard time. until my sweet husband reminded me of something!! :)

so here are a couple of very random "grateful's" for today.

the honesty and "straight-shootedness" (i know, not a word but it works for me) of a patient sales person while attempting to find a pair of pants - no easy task, you can ask anyone who has ever shopped with me. but she was very direct (i said pushy but ed said he thought she was just being honest) and patient and helpful. i don't have a picture for this one - thought it might be kind of weird of me to ask her. :)

my second grateful - and this probably seems very strange BUT if you had lived me with over the last 4yrs you would understand - it was atcually ed that suggested this could be my grateful. :) we were running late and trying to think of something quick for supper. i had a real craving and proceeded to explain to ed that i was fully aware that what i was about to order would surely wreck me - i knew this, i was accepting it, and i would keep the complaining to a minimum. so i got it. and enjoyed every last bite of it. AND, surprisingly i am still sitting upright and NOT doubled over in pain!!!!!!!! (yet, at least) so tonight i am grateful my new gastric makeup is cooperating with this supper...........
