grateful april - april 6

today i am grateful for the reason this little lady needed to wear these.......

that's right, folks - the sun was out, the sky was blue, and this girl is keeping her sunglasses on longer and longer for these great photo opps (totally unrelated to the sun and ALL ABOUT our chance to capture this cuteness)!!!!

speaking of glasses, she thought she would try mommy's glasses on for size

for the last week and a half i've been waking up between 545am-6am. at first i was pretty insistent on WILLING myself back to sleep, knowing i was exhausted but unable to really get any good rest after that (and believe me, it was NOT for a lack of trying)!! SO, i finally gave in......surrendered. i started getting up, making coffee, and having some quiet time before the sun, my husband and my daughter began stirring. it has actually been a really nice way to start the day. 

so, today i'm grateful for the need to wear sunglasses because that means the sun is out. i'm grateful for quiet time to be still and a time to renew my vision.
