We made it home today about 7:45...after a long day of waiting, working on pain management and chomping at the bit to see Audrey we finally were able to come home. We had a long night but were well taken care of...Brooke, JoAnn, night tech (Clarese?? maybe...sorry i can't remember your name), today Shelia, Jody and Greta. I am sure there are others that I am forgetting. Thank you all for helping my sweet wife at the start of a tough road. Everyone was so kind, helpful and patient and it meant a ton to me...
And my Sonja...my sweet strong and brave Sonja. You continue to be the most brave and courageous person that I know. You continue to demonstrate such grace and kindness even in the midst of these continued tough circumstances. I love you, I am proud to be your husband and I am a better man because of you.
You ARE my Champion

When I went to bed last night and there was still no post, I tried really hard not to read something into it. Soooo happy to hear this morning that things are clipping along. Know that I am sending TONS of good things your way...prayers, hugs, love, yada yada yada. Love you all!!!
So glad you are home with your family. Still praying for a swift recovery. I know we are in St. Louis, but if there is anything we can do, let us know. We miss you all, and the neighborhood is not the same without you. Love you, Julie and Tony
