God’s ability to perform is far beyond our prayers – even our greatest prayers! I have recently been thinking of some of the requests I have made of Him innumerable times in my prayers. And what have I requested? I have asked for a cupful, while He owns the entire ocean! I have asked for one simple ray of light, while He holds the sun! My best asking falls immeasurably short of my Father’s ability to give, which is far beyond what we could ever ask.
John Henry Jowett
so, what do you do when you feel like even asking for a cupful or a simple ray of light is falling on deaf ears? what do you do when you feel forgotten? lost?

I hate waiting! I've been thinking about this a lot lately and I've come to the conclusion that anytime I feel that God is short-changing me its a sign of how much I'm listening to the enemy. Said another way, if he (Satan) can get me focused on the lack of answer from God he (Satan) gets me to accuse the Father of not being a very good one. In 1 John the apostle says that anything we ask that is within His will is already ours, present tense. Because He is outside of time we may not see that answer until it shows up in our concept of time, but rest assured, He's already answered. Love you three!!
