nana's visit

last week was my first week with world travel which meant me being in knoxville for training. sweet nana came up to help with audrey duty - she came kicking and screaming. RIGHT!!!! i was SO tickled for audrey to have a whole week with her nana - they had a week together when audrey was 3 weeks old but she's probably forgotten that time - you know, the whole sleep deprivation thing. oh wait, maybe that was us......

ANYWAY, audrey and nana had quite a week. gigi (my mom) got to see audrey roll over for the first time. nana (ed's mom) got to see audrey crawl! that's right - my sweet girl decided to crawl last week while i was away. nana and ed were awesome to send me video on my phone, though, throughout the week. she is the funniest thing! she's learned to pull with her hands and her right leg and drag the left leg. she gets where she needs to go, though. lou's rawhide....she can get there. his nasty toys....she'll be there in a flash. and just b/c she can't accomplish one thing at a time but has to multi-task, she is also pulling up on anything that is stationary, including her crib! we had to lower the mattress before i left b/c she was getting pretty close. now she prides herself every night on how quickly she can stand up. so bedtime that normally started at 7/730pm is now delayed by about 30min-1hr b/c she has to stand up, dance, laugh, talk, exercise her volume....we just laughed and laughed last night while she entertained herself. we've been having trouble getting video on the new blogger but we're going to give it another try so be on the lookout.

ed had thursday off from work so he and nana and audrey went to grants farm for a little bit. apparently miss aud was a huge hit with one of the handlers and a couple of kids that were there.

it was a very special time for audrey and nana. i'm so grateful she was able to come up and help while i was gone.
