thankful day 16

today i'm thankful for my "mr. mom" - he had a bit of a rough afternoon with miss aud but his patience and compassion never failed. we're not really sure if she is going through another growth spurt or if she's just a bit more gassy right now, but apparently she exercised her lungs quite a bit this afternoon for ed. when i got home he wasn't frazzled or mad or frustrated - he felt sorry for her b/c nothing he did would make her feel better. his sweet heart hurt for his daughter. and to think that this is just the beginning......his precious heart towards his daughter will hurt so many times, i know, but i wouldn't trade that heart for anything in the whole wide world!!! i would marry this man again and again and again!

so thank you, "mr. mom", for taking care of our daughter right now. and don't worry - when she's old enough i will be sure to share these stories with her so she knows just how much she was loved from the beginning!!!!
