Today I am reflecting on the lightning fast twelve weeks that I've had off...officially called "paternity leave". I am blown away at how quickly the time has gone by and even more blown away at how much our sweet Audrey has grown and how much our lives have changed. I go back to work tommorrow and just can't believe it's already here...but it is. I am thankful for the time spent these past twelve weeks, with Sonja, Audrey, Tuckett and Louis. I am thankful for being able to spend the earliest days and nights with my wife and new daughter. I don't know of any other company that has the paid paternity/maternity benefit. As much as I am ready to figure out what the next step is and I am ready to work full time in order that Audrey can have more time with her mom I am deeply thankful for the job that I have.
