a little late, yes, but audrey's first bath was tonight. admittedly i was pretty anxious - you know, the whole slippery, wet baby and all. mom helped - ok, mom primarily bathed her - while ed took pictures (of course, what else would he be doing??). she was not a happy camper at first - when i started rinsing her off with the warm wash cloth she actually calmed down, though, and started to enjoy it. a nice change from the nonstop crying we encountered last night. she is now snug as a bug in a rug in gigi's arms, content as can be. let's hope she stays that way for the rest of the evening!!
