Introducing Louis

In the midst of a season of grieving and change we are pleased to introduce everyone to Louis. Louis was born the weekend of May 15th in Chattanooga, TN. Sonja's aunt Susan generously offered for us to have him not long after he was born. It has been an interesting and reflective process to come to the place of going ahead and getting another dog; at the end of the day...Sonja and I are dog lovers. We aren't replacing Tate and could not even if we wanted to and the timing of Louis and Aunt Susan's generosity are hard to pass up. A few important stats: when Louis was born he weighed 4 ounces, a few weeks ago when the picture above was taken he weighed a whopping 7 ounces. We are heading to Chattanooga this weekend for Audrey's baby shower and we will pick him up then. We are so excited to meet him and are figuring on attaching either a bell or some type of GPS tracking device on him so he doesn't get lost in our little house...and yes I am looking for a counseling job, we are having our first little girl Audrey Hope at the end of August and our future plans(while in God's hands)are less than clear right now.
