and the munchkin is a.....

GIRL!!!!!!!!!

that's right - the munchkin is a clowerette!! and she is doing so well - the doctor gave her an A+ all the way around! she is right on target! we are truly blessed and could not be happier!!!!!

i had a GREAT surprise tuesday night - my mom and sister decided to drive up so they could be there for the ultrasound yesterday morning. i was shocked!!! it was so special having them here for that. a real gift!

here are a few shots of our DAUGHTER! i just love it - we can't say it without smiling or crying, or both!

she was very active - she has been with every ultrasound and doppler, but i think i may have helped things a little this time around. i had a little coffee (the leaded stuff) and a little sugar so she wouldn't be asleep when we had the ultrasound. she was awake, alright - a mover and a shaker! we think we might have a dancer or cheerleader on our hands! :)

we are so blessed and just thank God for her progress this far! we are humbled, amazed, relieved (that she is growing well), tickled pink (literally!) - just blown away by this amazing life that is growing right now. this little girl is loved so much already!!!!

(we wish we had a video to share but this ultrasound was at the perinatal center and they don't allow you to video the appts there. don't worry, though - you'll hear more of ed in about 4 weeks at our next ultrasound!!)
