thanksgiving

we were tickled to be able to go home for thanksgiving this year, and we were actually there for longer than 36 hours!! we weren't quite sure what to do with ourselves! we were able to visit with a few friends and lots of family. here are some pics:

we finally got to meet jonesy dunn - we were able to visit with leslie for a while, steve was too busy serving the poor in the community.... :)

thursday we had thanksgiving with the kessel clan (my dad's side of the family). we've met at a friends farm in north georgia for years. it's gorgeous and peaceful and large enough for the crowd we have. i think there were 40 of us this year. dad is the oldest of 6 and they all have kids, some of us are married now and some have children. it's always a lot of fun, relaxing, stuffing b/c there is more food than one person can imagine - just fun.

in addition to this table there was a table for salads, a table for fruit, and a table for desserts. holy cow - heaven!!!!!
