chaganooga

after 8 1/2 hours in the car and driving through some serious snow storms through illinois and kentucky we finally made it to chattanooga. we have never been so happy to be out of the car! it was a great, fun, quick wknd with my family while we celebrated my sister's 30th birthday. we were able to surprise her saturday morning, which was a lot of fun. the time always flies by but we are always so grateful for every and any time we get with family.

we had lunch at lupi's with everyone on our way out sunday. not only do they have the best pizza and calzones in chattanooga BUT lupi's is the spot of our very first date - so it holds a little special place in our hearts. aaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhh!

my dad asked me tonight who the star of the wknd was - it was supposed to be chardel, but based on our pictures it was really ava. sorry, chardel! you're daughter is just so darn cute and fun - i couldn't help myself!!!! i miss this little girl so much!
