Our street with a nice white topping!
I'm very aware today of God's grace and provision. Ed's car is a wonderful example of God's provision for us - one thing among MANY things! We are so blessed to be here, no matter the struggles and hiccups and road blocks along the way. To trust that we are exactly where He wants us, to trust that He will continue to provide for our every need, to have the faith to believe that He knows our hearts desires.....man, am I in desperate need of a saving grace and a loving God! Praise God He is both!!
Update on Charlie - his last surgery was a success, praise God!! He got a good report from the neurosurgeon on Friday. Please continue to pray for the healing process, though, and everything that comes along with adjusting to a little different life now. He is a perfect example of God's grace and mercy!!
I'm missing family lately, ALL of my family in Chattanooga, Gadsden, and Rome. I'm thinking especially about my brother-in-law and sister-in-law leaving for Afghanistan tomorrow for 12 days for a mission trip, praying for their protection, for their witness, for the people they will encounter there. The Lord has opened this door for them and I know He will be glorified in their time over there, though human nature is, of course, to be a little nervous of their destination of choice!!! We put them in God's mighty hands!!
(all of us together in september '06 when they ALL came up here to see us - what a FUN weekend!!)
